Genre: horror, thriller
This film, while receiving a lower rating than most, is unique in its own ways. For one, there are only five characters throughout the entirety of the film. This creates a more intimate setting and allows the audience to feel closer to each character. Additionally, most of the film takes place at night, which creates a sense of eeriness. The majority of the events also occur within the same country house. This lack of change in scenery provides suspense as the audience waits to see what will happen next. The main character is a deaf-mute girl who suddenly finds herself face-to-face with a psychopathic maniac. Because of her deafness, the situation appears to be hopeless for the heroine. However, this does not mean that she is helpless. The film follows her journey as she tries to escape both the maniac and the house while staying alive.
